Don't be concerned if what is nominally a killing attack seems better suited to a normal attack or vice versa. Freedom Force doesn't really have killing attacks.

Special Attacks

Aid and Healing
Balance (Mystical) can represent sacrificial healing or life leeching.
Cerebral Balance (Special) for Aid that functions to remove mental states.
Heal (Instant/FFX) Perfect for Aid restoring Body, Stun or Con.
Mercy (Special) is effective for for sacrificial healing.
Normalise (Instant/FFX) for Aid that functions to remove physical and mental states such as frozen, acid burn, irradiation, gravity increase and vertigo.
Transfer (Special) to grant/restore END to a recipient.

Dispel, Drain, Suppress and Transfer
Breach (Secondary/FFX) can represent attacks on defensive powers.
Density Max (Energy) can simulate Movement or SPD drain.
Energy Leech (Energy) is perfect to represent Transfer END.
Hex (Mystical) can stand in for a variety of weak and distracting Drains and Supresses.
Genetic Damage (Radiation) can represent attacks on CON or defences such as PD or ED.
Power Null (Energy) is perfect for representing these powers.
Weaken (Secondary/FFX) can represent reduction of strength or attack powers.

Entangles
Crystallisation (Secondary/FFX) is suitable for many entangles.
FireCage (Secondary/FFX) for Flame based entangle with backlash.
Freeze (Cold) is perfect for Ice based entangles.
Purgatory (Mystical) is suitable for many entangles where the victim cannot break out or be readilly broken out or harmed by others.
Stasis (Mystical) simulates many Entangle Attacks.
Static Cage (Secondary/FFX) for Energy based entanglea with backlash.

Ego Attack
Mental Damage (Instant/FFX) is supremely appropriate as it is blocked by mental or mystical defences.
The selected base damage type determines the magnitude of the actual damage.

Flash
Blind (Mystical) will be most often appropriate for sight-based flash, often as an area or Projectile/radius attack.

Mind Control
Enraged (Mental) is appropriate for low intensity Mind Control.
Hex (Mystical) can be appropriate for low=powered, distracting Mind Control.
Hypnosis (Mental) is very effective at representing powerful Mind Control.
Mental Blank (Mental) is also appropriate for Mind Control.
Panic (Mental) also serves well for Mind Control.
Possession (Primary/FFX) is very appropriate for wide-ranging mind control that requires the user to cease all other activity.

Transmute (Primary/FFX) is a natural.

Cloak (Secondary/FFX) for Invisability usable on others.
Density Max (Energy) for Density increase usuable on others.
Phase (Secondary/FFX) for Desolidification usable on others.
Shield (Secondary/FFX) for any (active) defence power (e.g. Missile deflection, a force field) usable on others.

The target will continue to lose health for a small amount of time, which is tranferred to the user.
Life drain is indicated by a red glowing effect around the target.
The life drain is progressive, occurring each second but dimishing by one each time.

Accelerate (Secondary/FFX)
Increases the target's movement speed. Their speed will slowly return to normal after being accelerated.
